The Project
High-footfall restaurants and bars need decking and planting that look premium day and night, particularly when architectural lighting comes into its own. The space was designed for the demands of a busy hospitality environment — heavy daily use, spills, changing weather and minimal maintenance requirements.
What We Built (across 3 venues)
Millboard decking — authentic oak appearance, durable resin-mineral construction and a slip-resistant surface. It will not rot and offers a low-maintenance finish that is highly resistant to algae and staining.
Bespoke planters: galvanised steel frame, Millboard clad, same material as deck = cohesive. Define seating zones, circulation, soften hard architecture
Integrated LED lighting under planter capping - evening ambience, highlights decking lines, extends usable hours
Precision subframes: level, drainage falls, movement allowances, built for commercial loading
