The existing outdoor areas were dominated by old, weathered timber decking that had deteriorated considerably over time. The new design connects the house, garden and elevated rooftop terrace through a coordinated Millboard finish, providing generous areas for outdoor seating, dining, entertaining and everyday family use.

Premium Millboard Enhanced Grain Ashwood

Both the main garden terrace and upper rooftop deck were finished in Millboard Enhanced Grain Ashwood, creating a refined natural timber appearance with subtle neutral tones that complement the property's traditional London stock brickwork and contemporary rendered extension. Ashwood provides the character and grain variation associated with natural timber while benefiting from Millboard's low-maintenance composite construction. Bespoke Rooftop Terrace & Galvanised Steel Subframe

One of the most technically demanding elements was the construction of the rooftop terrace above the rear extension.
